Studio Session
Welcome to the closing chapter of dreamedcore: a curator-led tour and the sonic gathering Studio Session.
We trace the afterimage of a dreamedcore universe, where art, design, and fashion dissolve and reassemble across generations. The tour moves through fragments of process, opening a passage into how dreamedcore is felt, constructed, and remembered.
As the day shifts, Studio Session brings dreamedcore into the realm of sound, highlighting the studio’s ongoing exploration and research in music. Bring a USB if you wish, and enter the open deck: contribute your own dreamedcore signal.

HKD 200
dreamedcore – After Hours transforms a closed early‑2000s department store into a staged dream. Ten models with different vibes, races and cultural backgrounds slip between roles of shopper, owner and passerby, moving in a sleepwalking state as announcements fade into a future‑retro beat. The runway becomes a late‑night common, where a familiar retail space briefly opens onto another kind of day.

Talk — Dreamed Worlds, Lived Cities: Art, Fashion and Objects in a dreamcore Era
Speakers: Artist Peng Ke, Bu Jiaxin, Founder, envy envy and Lai Onying, Co-founder of YAT PIT Moderators: Curators Shirley Lau and Tobias Berger
Language: English
Overview: Curators Shirley Lau and Tobias Berger will join three interdisciplinary speakers to explore how, within their respective practices, "dreamcore" becomes a way of processing rapid change, memory, and loss—rather than mere nostalgia. They will also discuss whether the meaning of their work shifts as it circulates through galleries, concept stores, and homes. In this era of hybrid forms and reconstructed nostalgia, how does our generation navigate the emotional pulse between memories of prosperity and the uncertainties of the present?

Exchange Circle: Beyond the Square
For the 2026 ABHK Exchange Circle, inaugural Director of M+, Dr. Lars Nittve joins Tobias Berger, Curatorial Director of Serakai Studio, for a conversation on art beyond traditional institutional frameworks.
Taking Nittve's maxim, "Don't confuse the museum with the building", as a point of departure, the conversation considers how artists now work across shifting spaces, contexts, and systems. What forms of curatorial intelligence are required in response—ones that enable movement, risk, and new forms of encounter? How can institutions—museums, independent platforms, hybrid spaces—remain agile, open, and generative? Together, Lars Nittve and Tobias Berger explore how curatorial practice must recalibrate in response to art's expanding terrain.
